A woman kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to drive a parolee to buy crack cocaine Friday managed to escape while the man was inside and call police in Banning, authorities said.
The suspect, Ronnie Goldmas, 27, of Moreno Valley, was arrested at 571 N. Almond St. shortly before 4 a.m., according to Banning police.
He has an outstanding warrant for his arrest on a parole violation and was additionally booked on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery, making criminal threats and being under the influence of drugs, sheriff's jail records indicate.
Goldmas remained in jail Friday without bail, pending arraignment Tuesday, sheriff's jail records show.

On the way to the drug den, the suspect forced the victim to give him money, police said.
