A six-inch water main burst in Northridge Friday, affecting service to 30 commercial customers, a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power spokesperson said.
The broken main was reported about 4:30 p.m. in the 18800 block of Bryant Street, near Wilbur Avenue, department spokesperson Gale Harris said.
Crews hoped to have the rupture repaired sometime early Saturday, Harris said.
