A water main ruptured early Tuesday morning in front of a Department of Water and Power distribution station in Jefferson Park.
The break was reported at Exposition Boulevard between Western Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard.
Exposition Boulevard was closed in both directions between 11th Avenue and Degnan Boulevard.
Crews shut down the eight-inch water main, which affected six DWP customers.
DWP officials said they expect to restore water service later Tuesday.
Tuesday's water main break was the latest in a string of ruptures.
