2 Men Sought In Campus Sexual Assault In Torrance

Authorities sought two men on Wednesday in connection with the the sexual assault of a female student on the campus of El Camino College in Torrance.
The woman was attacked about 5:30 p.m. Friday near the east entrance to the women's physical education complex at the school in the 16000 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, the campus police department reported in a statement.
The men accosted the woman as she walked near the complex, threatened her and forced her to walk inside, where one man sexually assaulted her while the other man served as a lookout, police said. The men escaped afterward.
The first man was described as black, 18-20 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build and short black hair. The second man was described as black, 18-22 years of age, with a light complexion and short hair.
Campus police Chief Steve Port told the Daily Breeze that the 19-year-old woman, who had attended a class that day, was treated at a rape crisis center.
The crime was in the same general area of the campus where a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on Nov. 13, the newspaper reported.
No arrests have been made in either case.
