A former Vista Murrieta High School English teacher admitted Friday to having sex with an underage girl at her school and pleaded guilty to 10 counts of oral copulation.

Crissy Torcella Hisey, 28, was a 10th grade English teacher who began teaching at the school in 2004, according to school district officials.

She was arrested May 1, after the inappropriate sexual relationship between the girl and the teacher came to light, said Murrieta police Sgt. Jim Ganley.

Authorities did not say whether Hisey was the girl's teacher.

She immediately submitted her resignation after the relationship was revealed, district spokeswoman Karen Parris said.

Under a plea agreement, Superior Court Judge John M. Monterosso dismissed a charge of distribution or exhibition of lewd material to a minor and allowed Hisey to remain free on $25,000 bail.

She is expected to receive 120 days in jail when she is sentenced Oct. 3.
