South L.A. Apartment Shooting Wounds 2
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Two men were hospitalized Thursday with non-life threatening wounds following a shooting in the courtyard of a South Los Angeles apartment complex, authorities said.
Both victims were taken to a hospital and were expected to survive, he
said.
The shooting occurred at 9137 South Broadway around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a sergeant at the Los Angeles Police Department's Southeast Station.
Words were exchanged between the assailant and the two victims moments before gunfire broke out, the sergeant said, adding that the shooting was not considered gang-related.
A description of the gunman was not immediately available.
