Shots Fired In Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS (CBS) ― A gunman in a black Mercedes-Benz fired several shots along Wilshire Boulevard Wednesday, but no one is believed to have been wounded, police said.

A report of "shots fired" at Wilshire Boulevard and Elm Drive was received about 3 p.m. and, moments later, police got another report of shots being fired at Wilshire and Canon Drive, said Beverly Hills police Lt. Tony Lee.

"Eight shots were fired," Lee said. "A short time later more shots were reported fired from Canon and Wilshire. We have been unable to locate any victims or the driver -- a white male -- in the Mercedes."
