Boy, 13, Shoots Himself Near Hollywood H.S.

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) ―

A 13-year-old boy accidently shot himself near Hollywood High School on Monday and suffered a graze wound, police said.

The shooting occurred about 7:45 a.m. near Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue, said Los Angeles police Lt. Roger Mora of the Media Relations office.

The boy suffered a graze wound to the leg and was taken to a hospital in stable condition, Mora said. The circumstances of the injury were under investigation.
