Man Accused Of Raping, Impregnating Stepdaughter

Registered Sex Offender's Wife Is Also Arrested

VICTORVILLE (AP) ― Authorities say a Southern California man has been arrested on suspicion of raping his two stepdaughters and fathering a child with one of them.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department says 43-year old long-haul truck driver Tony Slone was arrested Thursday in Chester, N.Y., after his stepdaughters, aged 13 and 16, said he had sexually abused them over the last four years.

Deputies say the elder daughter also told them that Slone was the father of her 13-month old child.

Deputies say Slone's 47-year old wife Anita was arrested Friday in Victorville on suspicion of felony cruelty to a child. They say she let her daughters go on with Slone on trips where the abuse occurred.

Tony Slone is a registered sex offender in California.
