5 Bodies Found In San Clemente Home

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (AP) ― It's hoped that autopsies on five decomposing bodies found inside a gated California community will tell authorities how they died.

The bodies of two sisters in their early 20s, an elderly woman, and a man and woman in their 40s had been in the house for two to three weeks before they were found by relatives on Sunday in the Orange County town of San Clemente.

Neither suicide or homicide is being ruled out, although police say they are not looking for any suspects.

The family members hadn't been seen in at least two weeks.

Sheriff's deputies performed a welfare check on the house May 14th and again Saturday, but found nothing amiss from outside the home.
