Police Pursue Auto-Theft Suspect Along 110 Freeway

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Police pursued an auto-theft suspect in a late model station wagon along the Harbor (110) Freeway Friday.

The chase, which lasted about a half hour, ended when police did a PITT manuever and spun out that station wagon they were chasing on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway near the Artesia (91) Freeway.

The chase started in the Carson area and hit surface streets as well.

The motorist eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without incident, according to officer Jason Lee of the LAPD.
