3 Shot, 1 Killed In Pomona Front Yard

POMONA, Calif. (AP) ― Police say a 71-year-old woman has been fatally shot and two other people shot and wounded in the front yard of a house in Pomona.

Officers arrived at the home at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night and found 71-year-old Florence Anderson with bullet wounds to her upper body according to a statement from Pomona Police.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say 39-year-old Calvin Wimbley and a 17-year-old boy whose name was not released, both from Irvine, had bullet wounds that were not life threatening and were taken to a hospital.

No suspects have been arrested.
