Parents Track Down Suspected Sexual Predator
Man, 52, Accused Of Molesting Girl, 12
PALMDALE (CBS) ―
Officials report the arrest of a 52-year-old man in Palmdale for the alleged molestation of a 12-year-old girl.
Sheriff's deputies said Lorenzo Botelloraya molested the girl Thursday at 55th Street East and Avenue R, on her route to school.
Deputy Guillermina Saldana said the victim saw the suspect driving by while walking to school today with her foster mother. The parents wrote down the suspect's license plate and Palmdale sheriff's deputies were able to locate Botelloraya at his home.
Botelloraya was booked at the Palmdale station on suspicion of performing lewd acts on a child under 14 years old and was being held on $100,000 bail.
