Authorities on Monday identified a man fatally shot by a store clerk during an apparent attempted armed robbery of a mini-market in Pacoima.
Marvin Sanchez, 30, of Mission Hills, died near the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 10500 block of San Fernando Road, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
According to the preliminary investigation, Sanchez allegedly entered the store and tried to rob the clerk at gunpoint, the LAPD reported.
