Anita Slone, 47, pleaded not guilty to child abuse charges Monday.
A Southern California woman charged with child abuse after her husband allegedly raped and impregnated her teenage daughter has pleaded not guilty.
Deputy District Attorney Kathleen DiDonato said Anita Slone, 47, entered the plea Monday in San Bernardino County Superior Court in Victorville.
Her husband, 43-year old long-haul truck driver Tony Slone, was arrested last week in New York state after his 13- and 16-year old stepdaughters said he had sexually abused them over the last four years.
Tony Slone is a registered sex offender in California.
The Slones, who live in an unincorporated area about 80 miles northeast of Los Angeles, could not be reached for comment. No one at the public defender's office in Victorville would comment.
