One person was killed Monday and two others were wounded in a shooting in South Los Angeles.

One man was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting in South Los Angeles, police said Tuesday.
The attack occurred about 11:55 p.m. Monday near Figueroa and 75th streets, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Sam Park said.
A man in his early 20s died at the scene, Park said. His name was withheld pending notification of relatives. Two other men were wounded, Park said. Their conditions were not immediately known.
A man reportedly approached the three victims on foot and opened fire, Park said. No description of the gunman was released.
