Downtown Metro Bus Strikes, Injures Pedestrian

LOS ANGELES A Metro bus struck and slightly injured a pedestrian in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, authorities said.

Paramedics responded to the 1100 block of East Seventh Street about 8:25 a.m. took the 53-year-old man to a hospital for examination of minor injuries, said d'Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The accident was currently under investigation.
