2 Arrested In Connection With 3 Armed Robberies
LA HABRA, Calif. (CBS) ―
Two suspects were arrested Wednesday in connection with three armed robberies within a 35-minute span in Fullerton and La Habra authorities said.
A handgun was recovered at the third robbery scene in La Habra, the Liquor King store at 141 E. Imperial Highway, La Habra police Lt. Jerry Price
said Wednesday morning.
Sgt. Andrew Goodrich of the Fullerton Police Department said the suspects in custody may be responsible for all three hold-ups.
The first robbery was reported at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday at a 7-Eleven store at Gilbert Street and Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton, Goodrich said.
Later at 11:17 p.m., less than two miles away at a 5 Twelve market at Chapman Avenue and Euclid Street in Fullerton, another robbery was reported he said.
The third robbery was reported at 11:31 p.m., about three miles north Chapman and Euclid, Price said.
