Authorities ID Woman Killed At Industry Food Plant
INDUSTRY, Calif. (AP) ―
Authorities Wednesday identified a woman who was found dead in a machine at an Industry food processing plant.
Ana Maria Vital, 40, of La Puente, was killed at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Golden State Foods in the City of Industry.
Vital suffered "crushing injuries from a robotic packaging machine," Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner's office said.
The circumstances of the accident were under investigation.
The Irvine-based company has distribution centers across the nation and is a major supplier for McDonald's.
