Young Couple Held For Fatal Stabbing In Hollywood

Poole apparently exchanged words with the two occupants of the car, who allegedly got out and stabbed him as he and his wife walked away.
A woman and her husband were each being held Monday on $1 million bail in connection with the stabbing death of a man who argued with the pair after he and his wife were nearly run down in the parking lot of a Hollywood restaurant, police said.
Richard Poole, 45, was pronounced dead at a hospital following Sunday night's attack, which occurred just after 9:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of north Highland Avenue, near Selma Avenue, according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement.
Witnesses told police that Poole had been standing in the lot with his wife when they were nearly run down by a car that was pulling out, according to the LAPD.

Angela Sheridan, 24, who allegedly had been driving the car, and her 25-year-old husband, Michael Sheridan, were arrested later in the evening and booked on suspicion of murder, according to the LAPD.
