Hit-And-Run Victim Pinned Under Parked Car
LOS ANGELES
A 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were injured Saturday in a hit-and-run crash that left the man pinned beneath a parked car in South Los Angeles, a fire spokeswoman said.
The collision occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at 526 E. 47th St., near Avalon Boulevard, when one SUV crashed into the side of another SUV, said d'Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"The driver of the vehicle that was hit was ejected and he ended up under a parked car," Davies said. "His passenger was also injured and complained of minor shoulder pain."
The occupants of the other vehicle fled the scene, she said.
The man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
