Man Found Shot To Death In Long Beach
Police Suspect Murder Was Gang Related
LONG BEACH (CBS) ―
Police say possible gang violence led to the shooting death of a 24-year-old Long Beach man.
Comontray Lenoir was found in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the 2700 block of East 57th Street around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police responding to reports of a shooting found Lenoir suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and torso
.
Lenoir was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not release a motive for the crime but are investigating the victim for possible gang ties.
No suspect information was available.
