Flames damaged a second-floor apartment at a building in Santa Monica Wednesday, displacing its occupants.
The fire at 1047 Euclid St. was reported at 1:02 a.m. and firefighters doused the flames in 17 minutes, a Santa Monica Fire Department dispatcher said.
Flames were contained to a second-floor unit occupied by an elderly man and elderly woman who were treated in an ambulance for minor smoke inhalation, an RMG News camera crew reported from the scene, adding that the Red Cross was on scene to help the displaced pair.
