Two Southern California men have been charged with explosives possession after police raided a Torrance home and found 3,400 pounds of explosives.
Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office, says Brian Flanigan was charged Thursday with possession of ingredients to make a destructive device and possession of an explosive.
Patrick German of Redondo Beach was charged with possession of an explosive.
German and Flanigan were arrested Wednesday when police raided Flanigan's home and found enough explosives to destroy surrounding homes if ignited.
The raid resulted after police received a tip.
