Wanted: Gunman Who Killed 16-Year-Old Boy

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― Police are searching for a gunman who shot and killed a 16-year-old boy Saturday night on a Los Angeles street.

Police say Edward Satterstron, a student at John Francis Polytechnic High School in the San Fernando Valley, was walking with a friend not far from the school when he was confronted by a man wielding a gun around 9 p.m.

Police said the man shot the boy several times in the chest. The teen staggered to a nearby Taco Bell, where he collapsed.

Police are seeking a man ranging in age from his late teens to early 20s.
