Actor Ed Asner Raises Awareness On Elder Abuse

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― "I think that we apologize for getting old," Ed Asner said.

According to the nearly 80-year-old actor,  an elder is being victimized every 2.7 minutes.

Now, Asner is starring in a documentary available on DVD titled, "Saving Our Parents."

Some of the film's proceeds will go to the National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse.
