Boy, 3, Critical After Near Drowning In Pool

  A 3-year-old boy who nearly drowned in his family's swimming pool was hospitalized in critical condition on Wednesday, the Riverside County fire information officer said.

The accident at an address in the 41300 block of Shadow Palm Way occurred about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Jody Hagemann of the fire department said.

The boy's name was withheld, and no information was made public about the circumstances of the accident.
