A motorist was shot multiple times Sunday when he and another driver stopped at a red light in Atwater Village got into some kind of fight, police said.
The victim, in his 40s, was stopped at Carillon Street and Atwater Avenue, near the Glendale (2) Freeway, about 1 a.m. when he and another motorist got into a disagreement and the other man opened fire, said Los Angeles police spokeswoman Rosario Herrera.
The victim was shot in his side. He drove himself to the LAPD's Northeast Station, where he was taken to a hospital, Herrera said, and was expected to survive his wounds.
No suspect description was immediately available.
