Drew Barrymore Victim Of Hit-And-Run In WeHo

WEST HOLLYWOOD Actress Drew Barrymore was the victim of a hit- and-run accident in West Hollywood but was not injured, authorities said on Tuesday.

The collision occurred late Monday morning as Barrymore was driving near Gardner Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, said Sgt. Kristen Aloma of the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station.

Barrymore was not injured, Aloma said. The hit-and-run motorist remained at large, Aloma said.

According to the celebrity news Web site TMZ.com, Barrymore followed the hit-and-run vehicle after her vehicle was rear-ended and got its license plate number.
