Two street thugs have been sentenced to death for the San Bernardino gunshot killings of four people, including two gang leaders in what became known as the "Dead Presidents" case.
Superior Court Judge Michael Smith ordered Luis Alonzo Mendoza and Lorenzo Inez Arias transferred Wednesday to San Quentin State Prison.
Besides death sentences for the four killings, Mendoza got 75 years-to-life and Arias got 50 years-to-life for two attempted murders during the July 2000 shootings.
