Authorities Probe Deadly Shooting In Pasadena

A man was fatally shot in South Pasadena just before 5 a.m. Sunday.

A man was found shot to death Sunday in South Pasadena, a sheriff's deputy said.
The victim's body was discovered just before 5 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Arroyo Drive, according to Deputy Lillian Peck of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
"A South Pasadena patrol officer saw a vehicle parked... with the windows fogged up," Peck said. "When the officer checked the suspicious vehicle, he discovered the victim sitting in the front passenger seat, murdered."
The victim, whose name was unavailable, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were assisting the South Pasadena police in the continuing investigation.
