A dead man found in a parked SUV near the west end of the San Gorgonio Pass has been identified as a Fallbrook resident, according to the Riverside County coroner.
The death of Jeff Nolen, 38, of Fallbrook, is considered suspicious, sheriff's officials said.
Nolen's body was discovered at 9:06 a.m. Friday in a green Mercury SUV parked in the 500 block Myrtlewood Drive in Calimesa, less than a quarter-mile from bustling Interstate 10, according to the coroner.
The cause of Nolen's death was not released, and the investigation continues.
