Suspect In NoHo Slaying Of Teen Found In Mexico

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― A man suspected in the shooting death of a 16-year-old Los Angeles boy last year has been arrested in Mexico.

Police announced Wednesday that FBI agents arrested David Aranda Hernandez in the Mexican state of Sinaloa.

Police say Hernandez is the prime suspect in the death of Edward Satterstrom.

Witnesses say Satterstrom was shot multiple times while walking with a friend in North Hollywood the night of Aug. 2, 2008.

He stumbled to a Taco Bell restaurant before collapsing and later died
at a hospital.

The arrest comes after a yearlong investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI's Fugitive Task Force.

The LAPD says Hernandez is expected to be extradited to face murder charges.
