Southern California receiver Damian Williams has returned to practice after missing the Trojans' last game with a sprained right ankle.
After witnessing Williams' impressive recovery in practice Tuesday, coach Pete Carroll says he'll still wait until later in the week before deciding whether Williams will play Saturday against UCLA.
Williams is the 24th-ranked Trojans' leading receiver with 45 catches for 688 yards and five touchdowns. He's also their top punt returner, but the former Arkansas receiver missed USC's blowout loss to Stanford with a high ankle sprain.
Williams worked out with the service team Tuesday as the Trojans began preparations for their crosstown showdown.
