Woman Killed In Crash That Snarls NB 405 Freeway

SHERMAN OAKS A young woman died and another person was injured in a crash on the 405 Freeway Friday in Sherman Oaks, according to a CHP official.

A big rig and two other vehicles were involved in the crash on the northbound side of the freeway at approximately noon Friday, said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

Dawn Hannah, 25, died in the wreck, coroner's Lt. Brian Elias said.

Another person was in stable condition when transported to a hospital, said Devin Gales of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Three northbound lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted.
