Authorities say a Chino Hills woman is dead and her boyfriend is hospitalized after a stabbing in the kitchen of the woman's home.
San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller says the daughter of 43-year-old Minerva Calzada found her mother on the kitchen floor Sunday night, lying next to her wounded 23-year-old boyfriend.
Miller says the man was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive his stab wounds. His identity has not been released.
Miller says a knife was recovered at the house and all four burners on the stove were on.
She says investigators have found no sign of forced entry or burglary.
Miller says deputies don't know if they have an outstanding suspect of if they are working on a homicide-suicide try.
