2 Children Injured When Vehicle Hit Stroller

The woman was pushing a stroller occupied by her 4-month-old child -- while walking her 6-year-old daughter to school -- when the vehicle hit the stroller, which caromed into the girl, Davies said. The woman was unhurt.
Two children were injured on Monday in an accident involving a vehicle that hit a stroller being pushed by their mother across a Sun Valley street, authorities said.
Paramedics were sent to the 12700 block of Branford Street shortly before 8 a.m., said d'Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The woman was pushing a stroller occupied by her 4-month-old child -- while walking her 6-year-old daughter to school -- when the vehicle hit the stroller, which caromed into the girl, Davies said. The woman was unhurt.
The children, accompanied by their mother, were airlifted to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Davies said. A condition report was not immediately available.
The motorist was questioned at the scene, and police were investigating the accident.
