Human bones were found Monday behind a home in Canyon Country, the second such occurrence on the property since Thanksgiving, according to a local television report.
"Me and my pup were up hiking around today and came across possibly an arm bone ... what it looked like, and some other smaller bones that were broken up," resident Joe Massimino said.
On Thanksgiving night Massimino's nieces and nephews found what appeared to be a skull, rib and back bones behind the home, it was reported.
Massimino believes the new discovery belongs to the same body and hopes investigators from the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner can identify the person whom they belong to.
"Somebody's lost a loved one; somebody's missing that needs to be found," Massimino's said.
The Department of Coroner reportedly has not determined whether both sets of bones belong to the same person.
A forensic anthropologist will be brought in this week to test and compare the bones.
