Officials Tuesday continued to search for a motive in the possible murder-suicide of a husband and wife in Canoga Park.
Police said concerned co-workers discovered the bodies of Donna Edwards, 66, and her husband, Craig Edwards, 62, in their home in the 7900 block of McLaren Avenue, near Fallbrook Avenue, on Monday.
The bodies were discovered about 10 p.m., police said.
The co-workers were concerned when Donna failed to show up for work and
no one answered the phone. With a key from a neighbor, they entered the home and found the pair dead, police said.
Donna Edwards was shot in the master bedroom and Craig Edwards was dead on the kitchen floor, police said.
The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner will investigate why Craig Edwards died because there were no obvious signs.
Several weapons were recovered from the home, police said.
Anyone with information on the deaths was asked to call detectives Foster Rains or Ammon Williams at (818) 756-4820.
