Police say a bullet fired in an apparently gang-related San Gabriel Valley shooting entered an apartment window and narrowly missed a sleeping child.
Azusa police Sgt. Jerry Arnold says in a statement that the early Sunday shooting occurred after a vehicle approached a group of people in front of the apartment building. He says someone inside the vehicle opened fire.
Arnold says one round went through the window of the room where the small child was sleeping. Officials say a parked car was also struck by several bullets.
