A man was found dead Sunday inside a burned shack in a field close to the I-110 Freeway and 190th Street and near the Carson-Los Angeles border, authorities said.
A fire was reported at 10:20 a.m. and firefighters put the flames out within 20 minutes of the initial call, according to CHP Officer Krystal Carter.
The body was found inside the burned shack, said sheriff's Lt. Scott Gage of the Carson Station.
