2 Men Wanted For Artesia Liquor Store Robbery

ARTESIA, Calif. Deputies searched Thursday for two men who robbed a liquor store in Artesia and fled with roughly $1,700 in cash, authorities said.

The holdup at 18801 Pioneer Blvd. was reported at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, said sheriff's Lt. Minh Dinh of the Lakewood Station.

The armed pair entered the location and took one of the store's employees to a back room while a second employee was forced to lay on the ground behind the counter during the robbery, the store's owner told reporters.

No one was hurt.

Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to call the sheriff's Lakewood Station at (562) 866-9061.
