Anaheim Police Shoot, Kill Knife-Wielding Man

Officers went to the location on a report that a man was armed with a knife and was threatening his brother, who lives at the apartment complex, Martinez said.
Anaheim police shot and killed a man on Monday who allegedly confronted officers while armed with a knife.
The man, who was about 30, died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 1:40 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Park Lane, said Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
Authorities withheld the name of the dead man, pending notification of his relatives.

The officer-involved shooting occurred a short time later. No officers were hurt. The shooting was being investigated by the Anaheim Police Department and the Orange County District Attorney's office.
