Wrong Way Driver Causes Head-On Collision
CLAREMONT, Calif. (CBS) ―
A wrong-way driver spawned a head-on collision on the Foothill (210) Freeway early Sunday, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes just west of Towne Avenue at about 1:45 a.m., said CHP Officer Anthony Martin.
A motorist driving a Dodge Durango west in eastbound lanes at about 80-90 mph collided head-on with another vehicle.
No information was immediately available about injuries.
