Woman's Death In Agoura Hills May Be Accident

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (AP) ― Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies say a young woman whose body was found in a wooded area of Agoura Hills may have been the victim of an accident.

Deputy Byron Ward says the 18-year-old woman was found Tuesday afternoon on Lobo Canyon Road. He says a preliminary examination found no signs of trauma or foul play, and interviews with the woman's friends lead detectives to believe her death was "a tragic accident."

The victim, who has not been identified, lived in the area.
