Woman Shot, Killed In Culver City

CULVER CITY Authorities say a woman was shot and killed Thursday morning in Culver City.

The shooting occurred about 9 a.m. in the 4100 block of Jasmine Avenue.

Deputy Aura Sierra of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said the name of the woman was being withheld pending notification of her kin. 

The victim died at the scene, according to police.

Sheriff's homicide detectives were assisting Culver City police in the investigation.
