Woman Flips SUV Over Freeway Into Backyard

LAKEVIEW TERRACE A woman was injured tonight when the SUV she was driving went off the side of a freeway and landed in the backyard of a residence in Lakeview Terrace, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

"The woman was on the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway to the
westbound Foothill (210) Freeway transition when her vehicle went over the side into someone's backyard," said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.

The crash was reported at 9:18 p.m. at 12849 Paxton St., said Brian
Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The SUV fell 20-30 feet into a backyard and came to rest upside down
against a fence and a pole, KCAL9 reported.

The woman had to be freed from the wreckage and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the TV station.

The house was undamaged.
