Authorities Need Help Finding Missing Woman, 77

MURRIETA Authorities Wednesday asked for the public's help in finding a 77-year-old woman who has been missing since Monday.

Gisela Adams of Winchester was last seen at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and California Oaks Road in Murrieta around 10 a.m. Monday, when she dropped off her husband for an appointment, Sgt. L. Tyler Clark of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

Adams never returned for her husband, prompting him to report her disappearance with the sheriff's department later that day, Clark said.

Adams is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 175 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and white blouse and white skirt. She was carrying a red purse.

She was driving a white, 1997, four-door Buick LeSabre, California license plate 3UQR917. The Buick has some minor damage on the left side molding trim and an American flag sticker on the left side of the rear window. Adams is also possibly dependent on medication for diabetes, he said.

Anyone with information on Adams' whereabouts was asked to call the Riverside County Sheriff's Department at (800) 950-2444 or any local law enforcement agency.
