Man's Body Pulled Out Of Willowbrook Lake

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― Divers have pulled a man's body from a lake in a Los Angeles park, about an hour after witnesses saw the man disappear under water.

Fire dispatcher Betty Parker says the man was found Thursday in the lake at the Magic Johnson Recreation Center in southern Los Angeles County.

Fire Inspector Ron Haralson says witnesses reported they saw the man jump into the lake and did not surface. His name has not been released.

The lake is about 15 feet deep.
