Woman In Wheelchair Goes Wrong Way... On Freeway

An elderly woman rolled up an exit ramp and onto Interstate 215 Thursday.

An elderly woman in a motorized wheelchair rolled up an exit ramp from Interstate 215 Thursday.
The woman went up the McCall Boulevard exit ramp and onto the northbound side of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
She was heading the wrong way in a traffic land as her husband chased behind her.
Motorists stopped to help the woman, who was directed off the road and into a Wendy's parking lot, according to the CHP.
The woman appeared to be disoriented, but was not injured.
